CDC: Smoking Rate Falls to 15.2 Percent in the United States

Remember ” you’ve come a long way baby” and similar stars in ads  focused at large groups- All cowboys and men outside at work lit up on TV It was  everywhere. Then a nation realizing the immense cost of care and loss of productive life – at least 12 cancers, COPD, Lung diseases, and  cardiovascular diseases decided that was enough and priced them almost out of existence and mounted a very successful campaign to give smokers help and other substitutes ( nicotine gum-patches etc ,) It paid off Presently we are seeing the crest of the wave  Fromm the 60’s and 70′ as lung cancer is number one in men and  two barley in women. This is a success story of a nation pulling together  Dr Ryan
